Encountering the Real Presence of Christ
A Ministry Enrichment Gathering
Saturday, February 1 | 9:00 a.m. to Noon
All liturgical ministers are invited to a morning of learning, discussion, and reflection. Based on the teachings of the Second Vatican Council, we honor the many presences of Christ as encountered in the Liturgy: in the gathered assembly, the minister, the proclaimed Word, and most especially, the Eucharist. Christ is also present in the Body of Christ, the Church, called forth from the liturgy as a sign of his presence in the world.
Presented by Timothy Johnston and Liturgy Training Publications, take the space for you to encounter Christ!
Parish Lenten Mission
“The Glory of God is a human being fully alive” – St. Irenaeus
Ash Wednesday, March 5 – March 8, with morning, afternoon, & evening offerings
This Lent, join us for a transformative parish mission as we prepare for Easter. We are excited to welcome back Dr. Lisa Fortini-Campbell, a familiar and inspiring speaker at our parish, to lead us through this series of seminars and reflections alongside sacramental encounters.
So what exactly IS a "parish mission"?
It is a special pastoral event focused on preaching, teaching, and spiritually renewing members of the community. It typically involves systematic preaching and prayer and reflection opportunities over a few days or even a week, aimed at deepening the faith and spiritual life of parish members.
Our Lenten Parish Mission Focus
Drawing from St. Irenaeus’ powerful words, “The glory of God is a human being fully alive,” Dr. Campbell will guide us in reflecting on how we can live our baptismal identity more fully through the spiritual practices of Lent—prayer, fasting, and almsgiving—and how they can transform us into the people God created us to be. We’ll also explore what keeps us from being fully alive, the healing power of prayer, how to offer our sacrifices as gifts to God, and more.
Mark your calendars
The mission will take place over four days, beginning at all Ash Wednesday Masses and concluding with a half-day retreat on Saturday, March 8th. We hope you can join us for all or part of this enriching experience as we grow together as a parish family!

Formally speaking, OCIA is the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (formerly known as RCIA). It is the process by which new members are brought or otherwise fully initiated into the life of the Church. It is a program of prayer, conversion, learning, and faith sharing. In addition to OCIA sessions, participants will be encouraged to engage in the various faith and service opportunities and the very life of the Parish. If you are discerning becoming a Catholic, we invite you to read more here.
