Program Information
The Church celebrates parents as the principal and first educators of their children. We are eager to assist you with your unique responsibility in your children’s faith formation. The Religious Education program at Saint Clement Parish exists to help children and families grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ as together we pray, serve, give, learn, and belong.
Through our program, we seek to help children and their families
Come to know God more personally as we learn to PRAY individually and to participate fully, consciously, and actively at Mass.
Discover ways to love and SERVE others in the wider community.
Explore our call to GIVE generously of our time, talent, and treasure to build up God's kingdom.
Deepen our knowledge of the Catholic tradition as we LEARN what it means to live as people of faith today.
Experience what it means to BELONG to God and to be a member of this great Catholic community of faith.
Our Religious Education program serves 1st through 8th grade students. Classes of 24 students or less are taught by teams of volunteer catechists and they are held on Sundays from 10:40 a.m. - 11:40 a.m. at Saint Clement School. Students are prepared to receive the first Eucharist (2nd grade), first reconciliation (3rd grade), and confirmation (8th grade) at the appropriate ages. Please note that the archdiocese requires two years of preparation, so their continuous education is important in their reception of the sacraments.

Meet our catechists!
Our catechists play a pivotal role in shaping the faith of our children and adults alike, and we are grateful for the dedicated team of catechists we have for the 2024-25 school year! Read the catechists bios here.
Serve as a Catechist or Aide
We invite you to consider serving as a catechist for our Religious Education Program. We will provide you with a structured curriculum, educational resources, as well as a training that will walk you through a typical class, suggest learning activities, and equip you with the tools you’ll need to teach the group of students you’ll be working with throughout the year.
If you are a teen in need of service hours, you are welcome to serve as a classroom aide.
Please feel free to reach out to Marta Stepniak if you are interested in volunteering or have any questions.
